1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Pet Policy website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Pet Policy supplies its products exclusively to businesses and professional customers.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that the purchase is made for business purposes.
Pet Policy offers premium aluminium entrance signs for businesses and professional environments.
2. Products
We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images and specifications are as accurate as possible.
Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only. Lifestyle images may present the product in greater detail to highlight its craftsmanship, finish and placement. Please refer to the product specifications for the actual dimensions of each product.
Minor variations in colour or finish may occur due to lighting conditions, screen settings or production processes. In particular, matte gold and matte silver finishes may appear differently depending on these circumstances.
All products are crafted from high-quality anodized aluminium and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
Applicable VAT rates are determined in accordance with Dutch and European VAT regulations.
Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout unless stated otherwise.
Pet Policy reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.
4. Orders and Payment
An order is considered final once payment has been successfully completed and Pet Policy has issued an order confirmation.
Pet Policy reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, payment issues, stock shortages or other circumstances that make fulfilment of the order unreasonable.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the amount paid will be refunded using the original payment method.
5. Shipping
We currently ship to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
Delivery times depend on the destination and the selected shipping method. The stated delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Pet Policy is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Free shipping applies to orders of €50 or more, including VAT, unless stated otherwise on the website.
6. Returns
Pet Policy supplies its products exclusively to businesses and professional customers. The statutory right of withdrawal applicable to consumers therefore does not apply to purchases made through this website.
Returns are only accepted if a product was delivered damaged or incorrectly, or if Pet Policy has expressly approved the return in advance.
All returns require the prior express approval of Pet Policy.

7. Condition of Returned Products
If a return has been approved by Pet Policy, the product must be unused and undamaged and should, where reasonably possible, be returned in its original packaging.
Pet Policy reserves the right to refuse a refund if a returned product is damaged, incomplete or shows visible signs of use.
Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
8. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective, was damaged during delivery or was delivered incorrectly.
Pet Policy is not responsible for returned products that are lost or damaged during return transport when the return shipment is arranged by the customer.
9. Refunds
If a return has been approved by Pet Policy, any applicable refund will be issued using the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Original shipping costs will not be refunded unless the product was damaged, defective or delivered incorrectly.
If an order is returned in full and refunded, the corresponding contribution to animal welfare will also be cancelled. Contributions to animal welfare are made only for purchases that are ultimately retained.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within two business days of delivery.
Please include your order details and, where possible, photographs of the product and its packaging.
After reviewing the matter, Pet Policy may provide a replacement product or issue a refund.
11. Use and Installation of Products
Pet Policy entrance signs are intended as decorative and informative indicators of a business's pet policy. They do not constitute legally enforceable notices.
The customer is responsible for determining whether the product is suitable for the intended surface, location and use.
Installation instructions must be followed carefully. Pet Policy is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, removal, unsuitable surfaces or incorrect use of the adhesive backing.
Pet Policy is not responsible for the way its products are interpreted or used by third parties.
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, logos, silhouettes, images, photographs, texts and other content on this website are the property of Pet Policy or are used with the appropriate permission.
They may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of Pet Policy.
13. Animal Welfare
A contribution to animal welfare is made with every completed purchase.
If an order is returned in full and refunded, the corresponding contribution to animal welfare will also be cancelled.
Contributions are made only for purchases that are ultimately retained.
14. Warranty
Pet Policy provides a six-month warranty on print quality and colour finish under normal indoor and outdoor use.
This warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not apply to damage caused by improper installation, removal, impact, bending, misuse, accidents, unsuitable surfaces, chemical cleaning products or normal wear and tear after delivery.
This warranty does not affect any mandatory statutory rights that may apply.

15. Retention of Title All delivered products remain the property of Pet Policy until full payment of all amounts due in connection with the relevant order has been received.
16. Liability
Pet Policy shall not be liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit or damage resulting from improper use, improper installation, improper removal or careless handling of the product.
Pet Policy shall not be liable for damage to doors, windows, walls, paintwork, glass, coatings or other surfaces resulting from the installation or removal of a product.
In all cases, Pet Policy's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the relevant order, except where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory applicable law.
17. Force Majeure
Pet Policy shall not be liable for delays or failure to fulfil its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include transport disruptions, strikes, illness, technical failures, supplier delays, shortages of materials, government measures, natural disasters or other events of force majeure.
In such cases, Pet Policy reserves the right to postpone delivery or terminate the agreement in whole or in part without being liable for damages.
18. Changes to These Terms
Pet Policy reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version published on the website at the time an order is placed applies to that order.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and all agreements with Pet Policy are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
