1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Pet Policy website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Pet Policy supplies its products exclusively to businesses and professional customers.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that the purchase is made for business purposes.
Pet Policy offers high-quality aluminium entrance signs for businesses, hospitality venues and professional environments.
2. Products
We aim to present all product descriptions, images and specifications as accurately as possible.
Product images are for illustrative purposes. Colours, finishes and details may differ slightly from the actual product. In particular, matte gold and silver finishes may appear different depending on lighting conditions and screen settings.
Minor variations inherent to the material or manufacturing process are not considered defects, provided they do not affect the normal use of the product.
The products are made from anodised aluminium and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, in accordance with the product information provided on the website.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include Dutch VAT (21%), unless otherwise stated.
Where required under applicable VAT regulations, VAT rates may vary depending on the country in which the customer is established.
Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout unless otherwise stated.
Payment is made using the payment methods offered during checkout.
Pet Policy reserves the right to change prices and offers. Any change will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
4. Formation of the Agreement
An order is placed when the customer completes the checkout process and confirms the order.
After receiving the order, the customer will receive a confirmation by email.
Pet Policy reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of an obvious error in pricing or product information, payment issues, insufficient stock or other circumstances that make fulfilment of the order reasonably impossible.
If an order that has already been paid for is cancelled by Pet Policy, the amount paid will be refunded.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, shipping carrier and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, Pet Policy is not liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Current shipping costs and any conditions for free shipping are displayed during checkout and on the Shipping & Returns page.
6. Returns
Pet Policy supplies its products exclusively to businesses and professional customers. Therefore, the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to consumers does not apply to purchases made through this website.
Returns are accepted only if a product was delivered damaged or incorrectly, or if Pet Policy has expressly approved the return in advance.
Products must not be returned without prior approval from Pet Policy.
To request a return, the customer must contact info@petpolicy.eu
and provide the order number and reason for the return request.
If the return request is approved, the customer will receive further return instructions by email, including the return address.
An approved return must be shipped within 14 days of receiving the return instructions.
7. Condition of Returned Products
If a return has been approved by Pet Policy, the product must be unused and undamaged and, where reasonably possible, returned in its original packaging.
Pet Policy does not accept returns or provide refunds for damage occurring after delivery as a result of handling, dropping, installation, removal or improper use of the product.
Pet Policy reserves the right to refuse a refund if the returned product is damaged, incomplete or shows visible signs of use.
8. Return Shipping Costs and Refunds
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective, was damaged during delivery or was delivered incorrectly.
If a return has been approved by Pet Policy, any applicable refund will be issued using the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Original shipping costs will not be refunded unless the product was damaged, defective or delivered incorrectly.
9. Damaged, Defective or Incorrectly Delivered Products
If an order arrives damaged, a product is defective or an incorrect product has been delivered, we ask the customer to contact us as soon as possible.
In the case of visible shipping damage, we ask the customer to report this preferably within two business days of delivery.
Please include the order details and, where possible, photographs of the product and its packaging.
Visible damage should preferably be reported before the product is installed or used.
After reviewing the circumstances, Pet Policy may provide a replacement product or refund the purchase price, depending on the situation.
10. Installation and Use
Pet Policy entrance signs are intended as decorative and informative indications of a house policy. They do not, by themselves, constitute a legally enforceable notice.
The customer is responsible for determining whether the chosen surface is suitable for attaching the product and for correct placement and installation.
To the extent permitted by law, Pet Policy is not liable for damage to the product, the mounting surface or other property resulting from incorrect installation, removal, handling or use of the product.
Pet Policy is not responsible for the manner in which the indications on its products are interpreted or observed by third parties.
11. Liability
Pet Policy is liable for direct damage to the extent that such damage results from an attributable failure by Pet Policy and liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Pet Policy is not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue or damage resulting from improper use, incorrect installation or removal of the product.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
12. Intellectual Property All designs, logos, images, texts and other content on the website are owned by Pet Policy or used with permission and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without prior written permission.
13. Animal Welfare
A contribution to animal welfare is made with every completed purchase, in accordance with the information provided on the website.
If an order is returned in full and refunded, the corresponding contribution to animal welfare will also be cancelled. Contributions are made only for purchases that are ultimately retained.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and all agreements with Pet Policy are governed by Dutch law.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
